Ashley Cole insists Chelsea's players still have the hunger to succeed in the UEFA Champions League.
Europe's prestigious club competition has been a priority for owner Roman Abramovich for some time, however, the coveted trophy remains an elusive target.
Chelsea will be in the lucrative group stage again this season and Cole insists the club's squad are determined to make amends for missing out in years gone by.
Although the Blues have been successful in the Premier League they are yet to lift the Champions League and the England international believes it would 'kill' some players to not be crowned a European club champion.
