Tranmere Rovers boss Les Parry is bristling with excitement after signing Martin Devaney from Barnsley on a one-year deal.
The experienced 31-year-old has plied his trade for the last six years at Oakwell and has made over 400 Football League appearances.
"I am delighted to bring a player of Martin's quality to this club," Parry told the club's official website.
"He's a great crosser of the ball, can beat players and pick out a team-mate.
