Scotland manager Craig Levein has confirmed that Kris Commons will not be playing against Denmark on Wednesday.
The Celtic man reported for international duty wearing a protective boot before returning to the club's Lennoxtown training base for further treatment.
As the match was only a friendly, the Bhoys were always keen for their star playmaker to miss out rather than aggravate the knock.

Although Commons' condition has been improving since Sunday, Levein has now confirmed he will play no part against Denmark.
