The government recently decided to extend the deadline for corporate income tax payments for over 200,000 small and medium-sized enterprises this year.
The decision was right and necessary, considering the companies are facing difficulties caused by the rise in prices of fuel, electricity and raw materials. Furthermore, they are facing other production problems, not the least of which is accessing credit because of very high interest rates. Several are even on the brink of bankruptcy and need all the help they can get
