When this reaches the stage 4 brain cancer level, the median survival rate is about 12 months because it is very difficult to cure. The reason being that the tumor cells do not respond to conventional therapies and display heavy resistance. Also because the brain becomes too weak to withstand the trauma of conventional therapy and becomes vulnerable to damage.
