As you may or may not have noticed the old outdated Tournament forum has been deleted.
This is because the admin team are working on building a new 1v1 Tournament.
Whats the point you ask? Well there are many interesting things that will get you screaming for it to be released.
Things like rewards, a new "elite" squad, new ranks (separate of our clan ranks) and achievements.
This new system is heavily complex to run but easy to use, so bare with us whilst we patch it together and soon you'll be training in a new fun and exciting way with the `Skilled Clan.
Hopefully this will really kick off when we get our own server, after the 1v1 Tournament opens we'll soon be working on team related tournaments with Search and Destroy! See you all on the battlefield soon.
Updates will come in when available. All admins please report to leaders for debriefing and collaboration.

*UPDATE*
Can all admins change their xfire names so they have ADMIN or LEADER after it so they can easily be recognized. This is needed because all matches need an admin+ member to referee the match, this way you'll be easier to spot on xfire for when a match is about to take place.

Don't draw people to fight each other. Open tournaments where people can challenge one another encourages more game play and friendly rivalry.
Nothing about this tournament is forced, if you do not wish to fight then you do not have too.
However, referees are a must for a game to take place so Paddy and I wants every admin+ player to be prepared to referee and watch games whenever possible. Admins who decline an invitation to referee a game continuously will be spoken too as without them you'll be the ones destroying the Tournament.
This is just another new responsibility we have as Admins.
On that note I think Moderators should be included in this Referee team as well, will give them one more thing to do.
Referees still have the right to play in the Tournament but can not referee their own match.

2) After all that stress of choosing new staff ppl and adding a new staff position do you think more promotions is the way to go? Seeing as if we promote to staff there may be more staff then normal members, but if you are thinking of promoting to new squads i'm fine with that

1) We were just going to discuss the achievements. Hawk invited me and Paddy to discuss the idea on xfire last night but we some how go onto the topic of the Tournament and it just came to birth on a spur of the moment.
2) You've miss understood the promotions. There will be two ranks; your clan rank (Member, Moderator, Admin, Headadmin, Co-leader and leader) and a new rank to do with the Tournament (private, private first class, etc). So people who dont play in the tournament WONT have anything to do with this rank. So no-one is actually getting a promotion in clan ranking. 
3) the xfire thing is important for when people need to find a referee for thier match, this way they can log onto xfire, see an admin+ member easily and ask them to referee their match.
But now it's time to get all Moderator's to Leaders opinion and feedback on what we've already done and new ideas for what we haven't. So you can comment on existing ideas and make new ideas for both achievements and tournaments in the correct forum.
Is that alright?
