Australia and Sweden booked their places in Saturday's Speedway World Cup final after strong performances in Event Two.
However Great Britain will not be competing in the main event after they suffered a night to forget in Gorzow.
Jason Crump spearheaded an impressive meeting for Australia, who won the event with 51 points, Sweden secured the second qualification place with 44, Russia were back in third on 33 and GB finished bottom with just 30.
The outcome of the second event means Australia, Sweden, Poland and Denmark will contest Saturday's final at the Edward Jancarz Stadium.
Praise
The Aussies had plenty of scoring firepower in their ranks and led the meeting from heat seven all the way to the conclusion. Troy Batchelor was their star man on 13 points and Australian champion Chris Holder weighed in with 11.
Team manager Craig Boyce was delighted with his team's spirit and performance, but reserved special praise for skipper Crump, who notched a 12-point haul.
The three-time world champion missed last year's SWC to undergo surgery on a niggling arm injury. But Boyce says he is making his presence felt this year.
He told speedwayworld.tv: "We have a great team spirit and it has been great to have Jason back in the team. That has boosted our morale again."
He said: "We have a great team spirit and it has been great to have Jason back in the team. That has boosted our morale again. We're really happy with tonight and it was a good race-off.
"It was a good practice for the final. Everything went to plan and the boys pulled together well right from the get-go."
