Good Marketing Plan
Sometimes you see a photograph and go 'Whoa'! This is such a fantastic photograph! Marveling at the photograph follows and you can't just stop looking at it! A dive deeper into the photograph and you realize that it has been done with adobe photoshop! Of course most of the time the entire photograph is not tweaked, but it is enhanced! This is because the original photograph is extremely good and a bit of tweaking makes it even better! One way to enhance an already good photograph in photoshop is to use backgrounds. Creating backgrounds in photoshop is not that difficult - here is a low-down on making backgrounds in photoshop.
How to Create Backgrounds in Photoshop
Step 1
Choosing a new photoshop document is the first thing you would be doing. If you are asked to choose a size, 4X6 is a standard size and a good one to start off with. The next thing on the anvil is to locate the toolbar and have a look at other icons. The gradient tool is hidden in the tool bar.
Step 2
After you have located the toolbar, right click on the paint bucket. As a result a menu will pop up which will show the paint bucket and gradient tool in detail. Clicking on this icon will activate the tool for you.
Step 3
If you take a close look, the top of the program will display the gradient brush options. To get an idea of how the gradient would look, there are 5 gradient options there. For starters, while creating backgrounds in photoshop, choosing the most basic gradient would be a better thing to do.
Step 4
The gradient will normally allow 2 colors and will fade and mix them for the object you are editing. The toolbar to the left of photoshop interface will allow you to choose any color you want. Now on the toolbar, the first color featured in the gradient will be the color that overlays the other color.
Step 5
Now is the time for some interesting stuff. Once you are done with the colors, the background will be easier to create. Just try and get used to the gradient tool with this simple trick. Take the cursor on the top left corner, and drag the mouse to the bottom right corner. If you let go the mouse, the gradient tool will again be visible.
Step 6
Play around with that tool and get an idea as to what effect it has on the object. Also see how the gradient changes from different positions. Fiddle with the gradient and the colors and styles and see what is the background which will suit your project the best.
Finally, whenever you feel that this is how you would generally want the photograph to look, save the file. That's it! This way you can go on creating backgrounds in photoshop and add your own touch to the photograph!
Cool Backgrounds in Photoshop
Photoshop Background 1
To get this background, select the 'filter' option, choose artistic and then sponge options. You will need to pick the brush size, definition and smoothness and the color. What you need to take care is to adjust the hue and saturation of the colors you pick. Airbrushing in photoshop is an important aspect of making backgrounds with this software.
Photoshop Background 2
By now I am sure you have got a basic idea about creating backgrounds in photoshop. So for this particular background, start with a light grey background. Then go to the filter, choose pixelate and then color halftone and choose a radius measurement. You need not look at all the other settings, let them be as it is and select ok or apply or whatever helps you proceed. What you can surely do is play around with numbers and the gradient and see the effects.
In addition to all these you have a host of options from mosaic tiles to crayon textures for creating backgrounds in photoshop! You would get to know these and many more once you delve and fiddle with photoshop! All these amazing things are waiting to be explored by you! _________________ mrsamct |
