City have been handed arguably the toughest of all the Champions League groups with Bayern Munich and Villarreal their other opponents, with a trip to Germany next on the agenda on 27th September.
And forward Aguero, who was the latest star name to make a big-money move to the North West club in the summer, felt that with a little more good fortune City could have opened their campaign with victory.
The Argentina international wrote on Twitter: "We'd have preferred to start winning, but we had no luck!!
